Everything about this place was great! The sandwich was so yummy. And they were even giving away donuts for Mother’s Day, such a cute touch. But if I could give one suggestion, maybe have a sign or something including that step moms are recognizing as mothers too, I’m a new step mom and felt weird grabbing one even though I am a mother too. Thank you!!
The staff and food is really good! I tried the Coffee date shake which was really good.. (it does taste like dates). I do find it on the expensive side. However , the quality is not compromised. However ,I am deeply disappointed with the restroom maintenance. It is decorated really well but the toilet was not maintained
Update on my review. It's been a few years and I went back to try Almost Heaven; met some folks for coffee. Coffee was great and the service was professional. Atmosphere is pleasant -- it's a little echo-y and the acoustics have you hearing EVERYONE's conversation unless the inside is packed (they could do for some sound-deadening decor). Bathrooms were clean and accessible. Best alternative to Starbucks in Cheat Lake for a coffee shop.

Great local spot! We passed through on a roadtrip and very glad we did. Recommend the white chocolate raspberry scones & gingerbread latte. Lots for sale- big menu options, lots of pies & cakes, coffee beans, bottles drinks, hats, t-shirts, etc. Seemed like a good atmosphere to study/work or to have a coffee date. Loved the aesthetic of the entire place
I got a slice of blackberry pie, an M&M cookie, and a white chocolate raspberry scone; the highlight was definitely the scone. I also had a bit of my girl's Oreo cheesecake and peanut butter brownie and both were good too. Service was friendly, the vibe was nice, and I got a bunch of desserts for only like 40. I'm certainly wanting to come back to try many other things, so expect this review to be updated. Update: As I said I would, I came back. The banana nut muffin was soft, packed with just right about of nuts, and had a pretty much perfect about of sweetness to it. The cookie butter cake had my eyes roll back into my head in pleasure. The cannoli was good too; it was very sturdy and was filled more than adequately. There's still more I would like to try, so perhaps yet another stop here is needed!
Everything was made fresh. Especially the chicken salads. The new cold refreshers are coming out just in time for the summer season. The cheesecakes are also a big hit! Both tasty and delicious! I give them a 5/5 stars on this little piece of Heaven!
Stopped here on a whim to avoid getting fast food. Highly recommend! The food and smoothies were a perfect brunch. Bathrooms were super clean. I hope we get a chance to come back.
